Ferrule Fittings

They work by compression. When the nut is tightened, it presses one or two ferrules forward into the fitting body, causing them to bite into the outside of the tube. This action creates a strong, positive mechanical seal that is resistant to vibration and pressure, effectively preventing leaks.
