Wafer Silent Check Valves

A swing check valve uses a hinged disc that can slam shut on flow reversal, causing water hammer. A silent check valve uses a spring-assisted disc that closes quickly and quietly before the reverse flow gains momentum, preventing damaging pressure surges and noise.

A silent check valve features a spring-loaded internal disc. When fluid flows in the correct direction, the pressure overcomes the spring tension, opening the valve. When flow stops or reverses, the spring immediately pushes the disc onto its seat, creating a tight seal and preventing backflow.

Our wafer silent check valves are available in a variety of materials to suit different media and service conditions, including durable Carbon Steel, corrosion-resistant Stainless Steel, and Brass.
